IxD Project Lead for High-End Experience Design Agency

One of San Francisco's premier experience design agencies is looking for an Interaction Design Project Lead to guide teams through all phases of development.

This agency loves human-centered design challenges and solves them with a focus on strategy. You'll be working in a collaborative environment where good ideas are the only celebrated stars. Design thinking and making are expected as the role works all angles of a project from sketching, research, and strategy to prototyping, design, and documentation.

The role will require polished communication and leadership skills along with a superior level of design knowledge. Be prepared to focus on empathy—this a great opportunity to be a part of designs with a tangible pulse. You'll also need a light ego and the ability to peaceably kill your darlings to succeed in an environment that puts user needs ahead of personal style. That type of flexibility will serve you well in a workplace that is somewhat unstructured, with small teams moving from task to task.

Portfolio Requirements

An ace portfolio from a senior designer that illuminates those glistening communications skills and the ability to lead with passion will be given top consideration, but mid-level designers with a real desire to perfect those traits could also make the cut. A bedrock of visual design skills will give you the best footing.
